Medaase Agya, here are some according to my community’s cosmology; Ejagham, Bayangi and others
1. Mfam Obasi ; (Ejagham) believed to be the dwelling place of the omnipresent supreme an unamed being. misnamed by christ-insane people as heaven, Obasi commonised as god.
2. The Ngɔk Lituba (Bassa people of Cameroon); a sacred site believed to be the birthplace of humanity and the Bassa people in particular. The hill has a cross built on top of it by the insane so called missionaries who invaded the territory to ‘civilise’ and christ-insanised the people. The population had protested for the cross to be removed from the hilltop because it interfered with Ancestors and Spirits dwelling there and worked for the people who reverenced them. Ngɔk Lituba means a hole in a rock symbolic to the woman’s womb.
3. Éṣu ;pronounced E-shu (Yorùbá); A deity in the Oriṣa cosmology belived to manifested the consequences of human actions on earth. Mischaracterised and represented as ‘evil’ by the christ-insane people. (I’m open to corrections on this deity my knowledge is limited in the Orìṣa spritituality. This was a verbal account in my discussion with a custodian of the Yorùbá culture)
4. Akiba Nsi (Ejagham); The Spirit of a human being which relives on earth after transition. They are known to live in forests, farms and streams Misrepresented as ghosts .
