Extreme state of affairs when you have to put any information you want developing minds to care about in a video, song, meme or 15 second video. I have (yet another) film idea.. a Nigerian man marries a diaspora black woman he met through instagram thinking he’s about to be live the good life.

Soon after he gets to amerikkkka he is forced to become a corrections officer for “healthcare”. Now forced to work in a prison inside of what he discovers is a country shaped prison for just enough money to buy hot cheetos and iced mayo smoothies. Making good use of his healthcare “benefits”. He quickly realizes he’s been chasing the shadow of a pink mayonnaise night terror with no way out.

One of which he has now procured a marriage license and visa to “live” within permanently. The opening scene is the two preparing to be legally wed ahead of hundreds of older white mayo monsters marrying young, handsome Black men in their prime. This is 100% verbatim a story told to me by a diaspora sis. The film would obviously be a psychological thriller. Not sure how it would end, open to suggestions!

Not totally unrelated, before I left instagram I probably saw like 10 “black man/woman seeking white man/woman” profiles. I would say something smells fishy but I’m sure that much is clear by the fried tomato monster in frame. If pictures are worth a thousand words this one is worth a million.
