Malian Army Neutralizes Terrorist Group in Segou Region
The operation was launched after intelligence indicated the presence of armed men in the area, according to a communique. An Armed Forces patrol was immediately dispatched to pursue the group.
Around ten armed men were neutralized during the mission, the army reported. Significant quantities of equipment, including weapons and motorcycles, were also seized.
Search and clearance operations are still underway, the communique added.
