Everyday Is A Sunday
“Everyday Is A Sunday” is a Afrikan centered look at homeschooling through the eyes of child, interacting with the whole family as part of their socialization and educational process. Traditional Afrikan spirituality, health and wellness, and lots of family time makes a huge impact in the daily life of a homeschooled child. In the African American community, Sundays have been a traditional day for get-togethers, family dinners, religious gatherings and more! This approach to homeschooling utilizes the Afrikan proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child”. With vivid illustrations and color schemes related to the Yoruba spiritual tradition of Ifá and it’s deities, collectively called Orisha, this book is a great source of inspiration for many homeschooling families of Afrikan descent and beyond!
