The word for "virgin" in Akan
@solomonagyemang-prempeh @nasibaabass
One of your colleagues (the young man whose head was wrapped with a cloth) had a question about this word. I told him it’s ɔbaabunu. He insisted that ɔbaabunu only refers to youth (I think he was probably confusing ɔbaabunu with ɔbabunu). At any rate, I decided to cross reference and, good news indeed, the word is ɔbaabunu just as I told him. Please feel free to share with him as I’m not seeing him having signed up on Abibitumi or in the Academic Writing group.
