Russia Accuses France Of Plotting To Eliminate “Undesirable” African Leaders
Russia’s foreign intelligence agency has accused France of seeking to undermine governments in several African countries. In a statement, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) alleged that the French government is pursuing what it described as “political revenge” in Africa, following France decline and influence on the Continent. The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claimed that France was linked to a coup attempt in Burkina Faso, and accuse Paris of seeking to destabilize Mali (the April 25th terror attacks proved this is true), Niger, the Central African Republic and Madagascar. The French authorities have not publicly responded to these allegations.
