AfricaTown’s corefounders were Yoruba. I had always assumed they were Akan from the famous Leader’s name “Kudjoe” Lewis.
This could lead to a breakthrough in terms of family development!
Yoruba Customs are widespread in the diaspora and imo more malleable in terms of kinship based political structure.I would like to posit my opinion, that Black=African “deities” or “spirits” were/are interpretations of the indigenes periodic table of elements, (energies, natural phenomena, principles, forces) given anthromorphic (man-like) qualities to make them easier to understand.
