Help me out!! I’m sure we all can benefit! I’m teaching a class of 9-11 year old students. Let’s start a collaboration of some African Centered Science Lessons. Please post some Science subjects and themes. We will then form posting strands and collaborate on possible vocabulary, resources, media, books, and materials!! Remember that we can adjust all lessons to all student age groups. I will work to put all suggestions in lesson planning documents for our teaching portfolio. Start posting your insight….we are listening….

I have decided to do a year long Science , Sustainability, Entrepreneurship model on the following:
A Hydroponic Food Growing System that does not depend on any technology.
The Bucket is filled with water and nutrients.
There is a hose that is running from the bucket down into your growing tank.
Build or buy a table with wheels, to rotate plants around toward the light source.
        About $50.00 in materials.

Can grow Lettuce, herbs, carrots, tomatoes, melons,

Entrepreneurship focus: Selling the set-up parts.

Wow, I really like this. I was thinking 💭 that I wanted to do something similar. I’m looking forward to checking out this video.

These are not my videos, I just wanted to post some planning pics. I taught at an African Centered School, and watched the students and the Science Teacher prototype this year long. I will set up the three systems in my apartment and in my classroom. It would be great if some of us here can work on this “global”, then collaborate on lesson planning, working out kinks, etc. I am going to challenge some of my parents to do the same. I also see a lot of chemistry and math lesson developments from this. And of course writing and literacy projects. Thanks for your post!
