🎥 AES Film Screening + Live Director Q&A
Title: km.t: A Journey Through the Black Land (Part 1 Screening + Meet the Director: Ọnụọra Abuah)
🔥 Description:
For too long, the narrative of Kemet—Land of Black People—has been told by outsiders. Now, Ọnụọra Abuah, the first filmmaker born on the continent to undertake a project of this magnitude, reclaims the lens. Join us for an exclusive screening of Part 1 of km.t: A Journey Through the Black Land—followed by a live Q&A session with the director himself.
This powerful visual and narrative odyssey begins at the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara, retracing the footsteps of our Kmtyw (Black Ancestors) along the Nile Valley. From pyramid building to early christinsanity, from imAxw Imhotep to Heru on the horizon (the so-called “Sphinx”), Part 1 lays a bold foundation for the 4-part series that connects the genius of Kemet to the larger body of Abibifoɔ (Black People) throughout the continent and diaspora.
In conversation with Ɔbenfo Ọbádélé Kambon, Ọnụọra Abuah will discuss:
-
His journey creating km.t
-
Restoring the truth about Kemet and her Black builders
-
Using film to wage intellectual warfare in the interest of Abibifahodie (Black Liberation)
🧠 Why This Event Matters:
✅ See Kemet through the eyes of a filmmaker who walks the land and breathes the story.
✅ Participate in a live dialogue with the director—bring your questions.
✅ Engage with the visual front of our liberation war through powerful, research-driven film.
✅ Connect km.t to the broader Abibitumi Film Series & Festival, leading up to the Abibitumi Film Festival & Awards in November 2025.
🎥 Watch the screening and join the conversation exclusively at AbibitumiTV.com.
This is not Egyptology. This is not Eurocentric analysis.
This is km.t. This is Abibitumi (Black Power). This is Abibifahodie (Black Liberation).
