Description
THE CONSTRUCTION OF BLACK CIVILIZATION VOLUME I is a powerful seminar presentation based on Ɔbenfo (Professor) Ọbádélé Bakari Kambon’s forthcoming book of the same name. The talk challenges the widespread assumption that sḫm km “Black Power” and so-called “Pan-Afrikanism” are modern phenomena, by tracing their classical foundations in Kmt through primary inscriptions and rigorous historical-linguistic, comparative textual analysis.
Drawing directly on texts produced by Kmt(yw) “Black People,” Ɔbenfo Kambon examines evidence for self-identification and the operationalization of Black identity millennia ago. He presents the Dikènga Theory of Self-Identification as Kmt(yw) as a framework for understanding the cyclical nature of sḫm km “Black Power” in the restoration of mꜣꜥt (Ma’at)—and offers a practical “Blackprint” for contemporary Kmt(yw) “Black People” committed to reclaiming sḫm km and restoring collective direction.
