        Discovering the History of Kemet

For participation in this seminar consider what you think you know about the history of Kemet probably isn’t true. The history as it is written is based on a lot of speculation and interpretation.

In this seminar, we will take a look at some of the evidence that was used to derive at the history of Kemet as it is told today, and look at evidence that was ignored, and lastly, consider the massive amount of material stilled yet to be discovered. Only about 30 % has been uncovered and most of that is from “Royal tombs”.

I am not here to tell you my opinion/version of this history but to have you think about the evidence, and theories and the methodology used.

        Presenter: Dr. Rkhty Amen

This was a good overview of some of the challenges in Kemetology. Nana Rkhty stressed the importance of freeing ourselves from Eurasian concepts especially when we’re reading European translations or translating the text ourselves.
