Ah yes, the lovely world of copyright. While I am not 100% versed in the law of it all, I can say that certainly the safest guarantee for anything you do in the art world is to do it yourself — be it creating music or the art itself.

I also should point out, that commissioning artwork or photography from others in the community (if you have the resources), is a good option to get imagery for your projects that won’t land you in copyright jail.
