Why do we see no problem in continuing to use labels given to us by foreign entities? Why do we continue to go with labels forced upon us by colonizers? What can we do to change the labels? I agree 100%. Language is one of the most important aspects of regaining our minds. Any term that comes from our people I would be in favor of using. I personally feel until I learn a language that comes from my people better than I know the language that was forced upon me I am half stepping and not fully in alignment with my ancestors.
