I wish black film makers in the United Snakes would collaborate with Nollywood instead of LGBTQ Hollywood. Nollywood is the 2nd largest producer of movies in the world.

Nollywood is hardly better than Hollywood. No wonder they named one after the other.

It has light years to go to catch up with Hollywood but it has a lot of potential and has gotten better. The beautiful thing about Nollywood, it’s all black!

Lionheart, The Wedding Planner, and Fifty are a few. They’re on Netflix

Glad you found some decent ones. The typical storyline I’ve seen vilifies Afrikan spirituality and ends with a pastor teaching the moral of trusting in the imaginary white boy on a stick. Very Anti-Black stuff coming out of nollywood.

Wow, i didn’t realize that. I’ve seen only a few Nollywood films and they were positive. I was just amazed it was black owned. Imagine if we could change the narrative and make Nollywood movies about Mansa Musa, Queen Nzinga, Imhotep, ancient Kemet and Nubia. Instead of Hollywood stealing the ideas of our Orishas and moving an X-Men movie, we could make movies about our Orishas the right way. I’m just dreaming big!

Vast majority of them follow that storyline by far. I’m shocked that they finally produced anything else https://www.google.com/search?q=nollywood+movie+pastor+jesus&oq=nolly&aqs=chrome.0.69i59l2j69i57j0l2.2444j0j9&client=ms-android-a1-gm-rev2&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 note that a lot of them are financed by cavebeast worshippers. If you want something other than the nollywood standard, you would have to finance them.
