Well, I know it’s been a very long time since I’ve last posted…I’ve been extremely busy because the time is here for me to walk my talk!

I cleaned up my credit, got my affairs, documents and finances in order, saved my money and created a living expense budget for Ghana. I planned out my home-based business strategy to supplement my retirement income while in Ghana. I have a reputable realtor searching for a rental property for me. I purchased an airline ticket to Ghana for October 22, 2020, mailed out my Visa application, got an my International Driving Permit/License, downsized my material possessions, packed my luggage and most essential necessities, booked a hotel accommodation, said Nante yiye Yɛbɛhyia bio (goodbye) to my family, friends and acquaintances, all in preparation for my repatriation to Africa.

If you check out my “About Me” section, you’ll see where I’ve explained in more detail why I chose Ghana over all the other countries on the continent. I chose Ghana because I’ve been there before in 1988. Twice, I was married to Ghanaians and because Ghana is closest to Benin (Dahomey) where my family lineage is from.

Upon arrival in Ghana on October 23, 2020, (24 hr flight with two layovers), I intend to hit the ground running, rolling up my sleeves, ready to work hard to help in any way I can to restore our homeland to its greatness!
