@Ɔbenfo Ọbádélé My apologies for the delayed response. I received the notification that you responded, I just didnt see the comment until I clicked the arrow. To answer your question, I first became aware of Abibitumi in 2018ish when I was subscribed to your channel (on a cesspoolian platform that I won’t mention). I had an old account I just don’t remember the email I used. I don’t get on the internet unless it’s a necessity and I tend to stay to myself because most black people arent serious and love to waist time speaking about the same topics that have nothing to do with the end goal. With that being said, I recently came to the conclusion that it would be best for me network with other SERIOUS brothers and sisters. Due to the aforementioned statement, I knew this is the only platform (that I’m aware of) that would afford me that opportunity. I would like to thank you and the administrators of this app/website for creating such a platform. I’m doing everything in my power to go on the Sankofa Journey(this December).

The website generally is solid. But the app can be very laggy and non-responsive. The messages section has also become very confusing now with the updates. A lot of my messages appear deleted

Completely my own internal conversation but I post very little because I dont want to say the wrong thing. Sometimes I’ll have a thought or question but am not sure if I should say it out loud as it may offend people. The app is also slow but I’m rocking with my folk! I love it here.

@NnemkadiYaa Feel free to say the wrong thing. Yes, the browser tends to be a faster experience as the app is built on a framework that is being phased out. We’ll move onto a different solution at least by March of 2026.

Looks like everyone, including me, is pretty much voting that the site/app are too slow and unresponsive. I just got a quote from our developer in Nigeria, who is also a member @clinton who estimates that it will take $1,200 – $1,500 to make things faster. Anyone who wants to put their money where their votes are can contribute, The sooner we can put that together, the sooner we can optimize and get things blazing!
