Many are called but few choose to come to Ghana and Africa.

What I have observer with African married couples from the diaspora here in Ghana:

They are united in mind and body.

      1. They are very close and in-sync with each other

      2. The women respect their husbands and husbands respect their wives

      3. The men in these families can lead without tremendous pressure from their spouses.

What I have observer with African married couples Here in America:

They are not united in mind and body.

      1. They are very distance and out-of-sync with each other

      2. The women do not respect their husbands, but expects their husbands respect them.

      3. The men in these families are not able to lead because of tremendous pressure from their wives.

      4. The mothers do not support their men and turn their children against their fathers.

Let me know your thoughts and let me know if I am off with my observations?

What could have contributed to these two different classes of families?

Please don’t miss-understand me, for I was not intending to blame anyone for how or what they are as individuals. This was my personal observation and analysis and I wanted to see what others had observed.

You still did not enlighten me on your observations between the two classes of black married couples I theorized on.

Thank you for the informative presentation you provided on love and how blacks and whites experience love differently.

Here are a few points I took from the video presentation which I see much truth in:

        Loving one another:

        1. Your Wife

        2. Your Girl friends

        3. Your Children

        • Love is experienced through your history and experience

        • Black vs. white-albino experiences and realities

        There is a difference:

        1. Based upon the history and experience of black people

        2. Based upon the history and experience of white-albino people

        Blacks dependent of several influences:

        • Social situation

        • Good hair vs. bad hair

        • Skin color

        • Politics power

        • Education level and outlook on life

        • Freedom and welfare

        • Community relationship

        • Identity and self-control

        • Generational curse

Love is a gift to the community

Dependent on how well do you love yourself and your people?

        Nature of love

        1. Oneness

        2. Unity

        3. Identity

Thank you for revealing the word oneervation to me today.

          Definition: oneervation

          1. the action or process of observing something or someone carefully or in order to gain information.
          2. a remark, statement, or comment based on something one has seen, heard, or noticed.

Yes, I have explored the many factors that contributes to our people character outcomes, due to the influences of the oppressive colonial capitalistic world we live in for too many years.

Thus said, I believe we are like two ships passing in the night in regards to our thinking and perception of our world, which is understandable. We can leave this conversation at this point, or we can pick up the phone to speak face to face to prevent the missing thoughts conveyed through our texting of words. Peace Baba.
