AI is not the savior of Africa as it is for the white barbarians.
I saw an interview with Bill Gates where he went to say that he want to give developing country “AI”.
My thoughts:
1. AI will not help us to develop a mentally strong creative social and industrial economy.
2. AI will make us lazy and always seeking short-cuts to get things done.
3. Our minds will become even more passive and dependent on unnatural technology advancements.
I do see some benefits with AI, but I also see it as a cool-warm-boiling water to the frog, if we are not controlling its impact to our children. I believe the percentage of usage should be 25% AI and 75% people original creative thinking.
Security risk:
Exposing our proprietary and personal data on the Internet will allow our adversary to continue reading us like a book with even more efficiency.
