Mekyea mo nyinaa (I greet you all). I would like to have a conference call with this group to get to know each other, our businesses, and or our entrepreneurial aspirations. Perhaps us networking and getting to know each other may move along our business idea or existing business.
Presentations/discussions I have in mind to start the conference calls,
1) Business planning
2) Access to capital
3) Raising capital
4) Selected chapters from Dr Wilson’s book “Blueprint for Black Power”
Other neat things we could do, is a member could state an issue they’re having with their business or an idea that needs vetting out, and on the next call, we could assist that member based on research we’ve done or knowledge we have on that issue.

Hey @Tenkamenin I would be very interested in participating on business conferences calls! Blueprint to BlackPower is one of my favorite contemporary works and dosn’t get anywhere near the dignity it desrves. While I’m at the seed plantiing satge of life financially I do have personal experience in venture capital and invesment clubs. Let me know a time that works and I’ll be there ready to learn and of course a copy of Blueprint in hand.

Thoughts on having our conference calls on Saturday mornings at 8 am pst/ 11 am est? Do Saturdays work well for you all?

Saturday mornings, 11am est, that is 5pm over here, i can make i think one meeting a month at that time.
when is the 1st meeting?-
I have work at that time this Saturday :( BUT for the rest of May I can meet at 11 A.M. on Saturdays.

Hello all, let’s have the call next Saturday, May 25th 8 am pst/ 11 pm est/ 5 pm Berlin time.
Abibitumi is international, and we have Africans all over the world so finding the perfect time is tricky. I’ll post more dates to gauge what time might work best for the group going forward.
