Within Afrikan tradition til this very day, Maths has always been fun. In Afrika board games have been purposely used with the intention to teach or reinforce, values as well as cognitive and motor skills. Mancala (also known as Oware or Awale) is one of the most played and known Afrikan board games in the world. What is called “The Game Of Thought” is rich with mathematical ideas, a board game of a cognitive nature and based on logics and mathematical combinatorics.
