Who is the “they” and why is their being afraid beneficial?

The “they” is the Eurocentric established system of global rule and their fear isn’t beneficial to us. However, I think it may have been better stated that African unity and organization is what “they” don’t want because it represents the end of Eurocentric dominance over Afrikan minds, resources, and networks.
