I am mourning my babu(grandfather)transitioning in May. He was in a nursing home and with this covid19 we were not allowed to physically see him. Nursing homes for our elders are a big no no. I had an issue with it because I knew what would happen, but because as a fam we were not ‘on code’ (including him unfortunately)about his care in his remaining days this occurred. This Anti African behavior has been my family’s downfall. Im struggling with his loss. I miss him. But he is an ancestor now.
