I was watching the travel vlogs of a family they relocated to Rwanda. As I was listening to the guy talk on a live video chat, he mentioned that he considered himself ‘Native American.’ If you still want to hold on to being labeled as an ‘American’ of any kind, why repatriate to an ‘African’ country? Stay in ‘America’ then. Woo sah! The Souls of Black Folk.(Im not a big advocate of DuBois, but that title fit what I was trying to convey.)

Was he a First Nation, mixed or black? I’m confused.

Me too. Not sure what he was all I know he was a lighter ‘complected’ Afrikan as bourgie as he was. I think he ended doing what Garvey recommended by repatriating to Ghana despite coonin’ and beefin’ with him about his skin complexion and other nonsense.

I guess it confuses me because I have a good friend who’s Cherokee and her husband is black. The children identify as black. Most natives identify with their tribe and not “American” which is why it’s confusing. Unfortunately many of us in the diaspora have superiority complexes about nonblack lineage and features.

I dont get caught up in being ‘Indian.’ To me, and as you said a lot of BLACK ppl feel superior when they THINK they have something in them other than black/African/Kemetw in them. Ive grown to truly detest that behavior and hope you aint one of those types. Even IF I did or do have ‘Native’ blood in me, Id not acknowledge it for personally, Im not really interested in that topic. Guess Im just cool being AFRIKAN my sista. Hope you are too!✊🏾❤️🖤💚
P.S. there is a video on Abibitumi tv about how the so called ‘Indians’ were actually racist to us. Im not really an expert you’d have to watch the video on the subject.

Basically, Im not interested in whoever is mixed or bullshit like that. You are picking the ABSOLUTE WRONG PERSON to discuss such matters with.

I’m still pretty new here and I definitely look forward to seeing the videos.
No need to worry about me. I’m the person my family calls racist because I prefer to travel to black nations and stay in the bush as opposed to traveling to Europe😂🤣. Even my retirement plans have always been to move to a predominantly black nation. Only thing that changed was my choice in region. Initially the plan was to retire in 🇯🇲. Now it’s to 🇲🇺🇸🇨🇷🇼🇨🇻🇹🇿🇬🇭 or 🇸🇳, but 🇬🇭 is leading the race. LOL
