4 years agoAncestorship of Nana Marcus Garvey 4 years ago · I find it tragic that those of us who (think) they are doing well esp (bourgeois and rich) in this white terror dominated world, will fight “tooth and nail” against true Afrikan liberation. They would rather destroy the liberation movement than to give up a seat at their master’s filthy destructive table (til this day).

It is truly unfortunate but it is an eventual manifestation that you will find those from our community who will selfishly adopt and defend the ways and means of our oppressor and as you correctly indicated the NAACP, which was white led, was one of the many organizations who was viciously against Marcus Garvey and the UNIA because of his strong and uncompromising fight for self reliance ,self-determination, economical empowerment and for RACE First.
