I’m having the time of my life in Tanzania. The air quality and water here is terrible but the people here are Amazing! I have (kind of) learned how to walk a few steps with a basket of mangoes on my head and the hospitality here has been second to none! I’ve heard blacknificent stories and stayed a few days with the “Maasai people and the only way to describe it is Spiritual. I also see colonialism at work, yet We are One as a people. This trip has been an eye opener for me and so I now know that I must move to this beautiful and rich continent sooner than I thought. I haven’t experienced this kind of peace and safety since I was a kid. “Afrika for the Afrikans at home and Abroad.” The Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey

A few interesting things. The male elders handle almost everything as they are patriarchal. I won’t mention some rituals but they or (it) seem brutal. The music and dance were very nice but they seemed very reserved at times. Another person spoke for them and I was a bit confused by their diet.
