Im ‘petitioning’ to put a Scholarship of Dr. Umar Johnson on here. I dont understand all the hating of him because he says and believes the same things that embody Abibitumi. Now, he may be a little street, but maybe it’s someone like him who is needed for the streets. The gang bangers may not be ready for a more ‘refined’ rbg scholar, but he or she may receive the message of Afrikan ‘consciousness’ more readily from someone they can relate to, then he or she can eventually be introduced to the Pan Afrikan greats who are more ‘legit’. As for his ‘scholarship’ we need to make sure we are not using the same measures that neanderthals use to measure our credibility.

Have you seen this?-
I have already watched this ‘shockumentary’ and asides from how he said some things he was not wrong. Some parts were even funny to me. I think it was how the ‘shockumentary’ was edited. Anyway, I work in a family and child development center in the urban core and was raised in ‘the hood’ and I have met those parents who will try your patience. Dr. Umar was brought up in the hood and his target audience is mostly ‘hood’ too so as much as it may be ‘toxic’ how he says some things, his followers can relate to him and what he’s saying. Ive watched most of his vids and the clips in that ‘shockumentary,’ were little soundbites from entire interviews taken out of context. He is clearly beefing with other black ppl and goes live with it which obviously is not a wise decision especially since he has appointed himself as a leader, psychologist and educator. He is definitely flawed, but many of our ‘leaders’ had flaws. Plus, you know the pressures of living in the West and what it has done to our mental, spiritual and physical states. He’s no different and has clearly been affected, but he still speaks facts and things that the black community needs to hear. He is not against black boys or black women, he just comes off the way he does because he is working in the middle of the hood and he was raised in the hood as well. If he ever accepts–which likely he won’t because he’s set in his ways– he needs ‘jegnas’ to help him be more refined and embody ma’at. In any case, I still listen to his interviews and lectures. With him, I just chew the meat and spit out the bones. If my memory serves me correctly, Lenon Honor may be a bit suspect himself.

School scam since 2009?-
I think he lacks apppropriate decision making skills and may be trying to do everything on his own or worse case scenario, he is actually scamming ppl which obviously isnt good.

Since 2009, sis. Have you heard his own father speak about him?-
His dad is suspect too to speak negatively about his own kid in public. He’s probably clout chasing. No wonder Umar has issues. Umar aka Jermaine needs counsel and guidance I admit, but he still be on point about somethings. I guess he won’t qualify to get a group on here, huh? lol

The school scam alone makes it a bad fit.-
I think he has behavior health issues. The West, especially living in urban areas can do that to you. Otherwise, I understand Bro Okunini Kambon. I may post his vids from time to time though because about 95 percent of what he says is right on point. He’s just very street with his delivery is all.

His street delivery seems to be the least of his problems. On another, possibly related note, please check out my most recent publication. -
Daktari Kambon, youre implying Daktari Umar has ‘aggressive mimicry?’ Anyway, mede ase for the link.
