One can never underestimate the capacity of one traitorous individual to undermine the aims of African/Black liberation. I’m reading a book on slave insurrections in Puerto Rico. Many of the planned revolts were quite visionary and audacious. Yet they generally failed. Not due to the tactical genius of Europeans, but simply due to the betrayal of some frightened negro.

Agreed, I have read some accounts of some enslaved Afrikans even hiding their slave monsters during revolts so they wouldn’t be killed.
