We had a celebration and commemorated on the Earthday of Nana Marcus Mosiah Garvey in Harlem, NY with a parade that started in the park that bears his name where we marched throughout Harlem from 125th Street to 135th Street and then back to the Marcus Garvey Park. It was well attended and was one of the largest parade for the Hon. Marcus Garvey that I had ever participated in which was very welcome by the Harlem community. May we continue to acknowledge and praise the name of the great Hon. Marcus Mosiah Garvey as one of the greatest African leaders who paved the way with the creation of the UNIA-ACL, which was instrumental in the fight for self-determination and economical independence for African people and for ultimate liberation of all African people.
