Blackpowerful. Male and female complementarity. The proverb associated with the Gye Nyame adinkra is “Abɔdeɛ santann yi firi tete; obi nte aseɛ a ɔnim n’ahyɛaseɛ na obi rentena ase nkɔsi n’awieeɛ, gye Nyame” The procession of creation is from ancient times; no one lives who knows its beginning and no one will live until its end except Nyame. The proverb for the one on the right is Sankɔfa “Sɛ wo werɛ fi na wosan kɔfa a, yɛnkyi” – If you forget and you go back and fetch it, we don’t taboo it.
