Last night’s discussion concerning citizenship in Guinea Bissau was Blacktastic! During the discussion, we touched on the origin of the military invasion of Africa by the Military Order of Jesus Christ headquartered in Portugal following the Dum Diversas Apostolic Edict issued by Pope Nicholas V on June 18, 1452. This was a declaration of total war against the African people that resulted in the death of 100 million African people and the trafficking of 12 million prisoners of war from their ancestral homeland on the African continent to the Americas were they were enslaved and suffered the crime of ethnocide. Here is my presentation on the subject that I made at the recent Accra II Summit.
