      two structures containing multiple furnaces used for copper smelting;
      ingots weighing over 1 kg each;
      clay bellows heads of various sizes;
      ceramic crucibles and Egyptian vessels;
      significant amounts of charcoal and clay blocks.

      The time period spans from the Old Kingdom to the Late Period of ancient Egypt.

      This discovery underscores the significance of Sinai as a source of copper and precious stones in ancient Egypt, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy stated.
