🇨🇮Côte d’Ivoire: Reconstruction of the Daloa-Issia Road will facilitate the transportation of agricultural products
The Daloa-Issia road in Côte d’Ivoire, built in the 1980s, had long been in poor condition, making it difficult to transport agricultural products. On October 4, Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé inaugurated the renovated 57 km road, which cost 57.8 billion CFA francs (about 103 million US dollars) to repair.
Now, the delivery of goods to Abidjan will be faster and safer, reducing transportation costs and improving the region’s economy. The renovated road will also facilitate local residents’ access to schools and medical facilities.
