🇲🇿🇷🇺 Mozambique President Daniel Chapo stated that the country aims to expand cooperation with Russia in the oil and gas sector.

💬 “In the hydrocarbons sector, Russia is a global benchmark. You have the company Gazprom, which is engaged in oil and gas development, and as you know, Mozambique now also intends to become an important player in the global gas industry. We also have the national hydrocarbon company ENH, and these two companies can agree on cooperation,” said the head of state.

He mentioned the possibility of interaction in the private sector, investment sphere, and noted the importance of exchanging experience and expertise.

Chapo emphasized that Mozambique has extensive logistics capabilities due to its geographical location, and pointed out the need for large-scale investments in the country’s transport and energy infrastructure.
