the same way you see the prowess of kung fu movies (people flying in the air defeating enemies) I want to see movies of Abibifoɔ in our great battles of the past – spiritual systems i.e
Vodun etc shown as a super power for the youth to look at and aspire to implement in their life. The knowledge of Kmt exemplified or displayed as truth & Abibitumi in the subconscious for higher consciousness! I love seeing the armor and weaponry of Benin empire etc. and imagining them in action with deep storylines. This would be so cool to see and build love for self!

We hosted our 1st Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival last year and highlighted films by black producers worldwide. We are planning this year’s event currently. https://filmfestival.abibifahodie.org/

@Agya Kwadwo Will definitely explore that! I have some older Black films in the queue I need to catch up on by producers from Mali/Senegal I believe and I think a sister shared some films from Nigerian creators
