The (mis)Education of Kmtyw
Centuries later, we are still battling the “miseducation of the negro.” As someone who is fiercely solution-focused, I believe every problem has an answer—even if that answer is strategic non-action. But how do we truly deprogram and correct this miseducation across generations of Kmtyw?
Systemic alternatives aren’t accessible to everyone. Balancing the astronomical cost of living in the DcMdVa area with 2 homeschool tuitions and daycare (all African centered) is a financial struggle for me. As i tell my children and clients you pay now or you pay a deeper price later by not doing what beeds to be done. Yet, relying on the public school system—only to spend time undoing its damage—isn’t a viable solution either. We shouldn’t be barred from the schools our own taxes fund, but the reality is that public, charter, and private systems consistently fail Kmtyw children. How do we shift the collective consciousness so that our people deeply overstand our worth and prioritize what actually benefits Kmtyw on all levels – intellectually, politically, financially, psycholigically, and emotionally?
These thoughts were reawakened by the article about bias testing that effects the future of students in West Kmt, that Ɔbenfo Obadele Kambon posted.

Abibitumi Points
In one talk I recall Ɔbenfoɔ saying because there is a mass mis-education system in place, we need a mass education system. Only way I see in achieving that is by coming together as a collective and building Abibitumi.
History shows us that we were building towards a mass educational system in the snakes in the 60’s with the Black Power movement, which was systematically destroyed by the aAmw. A similar case can be made about the UNIA in the 20’s.
So looking at history, our best case of building a mass education system via Abibitumi is by leaving krakkka land to build a collective in The Black Land.

The (mis)Education of Kmtyw:
What are the benefits and advantages of slavery?
What are the benefits and advantages of colonialism?
The Transatlantic Slavery was beneficial and advantageous to the slaves because they learned new skills.
Colonialism was beneficial and advantageous because it introduced and encouraged the use of languages such as English, French, Portuguese, and Latin. English, French, Portuguese is widely used as the official and national language in all of Kmt (in all Black African countries).
Colonialism was beneficial and advantageous because it introduced and encouraged a new form of government system.
