Fred Hampton Jr. Black liberation work stands as one of the most powerful living examples of revolutionary continuity in our time. Chairman Fred Hampton Sr. built something extraordinary. By 21, the FBI feared him enough to coordinate his assassination. They called him a “threat to the internal security of the country.” That label was a badge of honor — and a death sentence. However, his vision did not die with him. It lives, breathes, and organizes today.

Chairman Fred Hampton Sr. fed thousands. He educated thousands more. He housed people the state had abandoned. Furthermore, he built coalitions that crossed racial and class lines — always centering Black people and Black power. His Rainbow Coalition was not a symbol. It was a weapon forged in community love and revolutionary discipline. As a result, the FBI moved to destroy it. They succeeded in taking his body. They failed in taking his legacy.
