A couple of thoughts from the fight:
As I posted before the match, I thought Whittaker’s best chance against Adesanya was to have a balanced mix of strikes and takedowns. With the height and reach disadvantage, Whittaker thought he could replicate Gastellum’s blueprint and close the gap and rock Adesanya. Whittaker underestimated… Read more
