an example of ‘beckyfication’. when continental Afrikans go to AmeriKKKa they will live anywhere embodying yuruguness. I know it’s not really their fault, but it’s very annoying and I really have to work on my patience levels when encountering these dusty black folks who betray our people by choosing cavebeasts as mates.

I’m the same way Sistar. When BW do it as well. I go out of my way to ignore them…on both sides. I promise I’m working on myself but most times I’m unapologetic about it

yeah, I’m referring to both BM and BW even thought the post didn’t explicity state that.

Beckification indeed (never knew someone else called it that too), Bedroom colonialism is a real ting. This behavior from Afrikan people from Afrikan majority countries, imo, is directly connected to the white jesus imagery

This is trained behavior by the Yurugu invasion systems

I watched the video about ‘bedroom colonialism’ where I got the phrase from you. I should have attributed to you though my apologies. Yes, the mzungu Jesus imagery has really psychologically damaged our people. Some Afrikan countries more than others tend to really hold wazungu in high esteem.

No apologies needed and I’m glad that you found the discussion constructive…I’ve noticed a certain individuals claiming to be Pan-Afrikanists engaged in Aggressive Ideological Mimicry (as Okunini Kambon calls it) which I usually can identify when I bring up bedroom colonialism

Yeah, ‘Chloe Mango.’ Is that who you are referring to? I wondered if you all knew who he was.  The conversation was really great, but when he chimed in that really threw it off.

Zakiya (the host), Niara, & myself have encountered individuals who say “a white partner didnt stop cabral, fanon, nkrumah from being revolutionary” — this is what lead us to have the convo.

              Aane!
I notice this is in certain things fanon dem said/wrote.

As for the A.I.M type persons, one of them said that they’re about “nation-building” , whilst talking about “good whites” and “bad black people” — and said we’re all human.

I think this “human” thing is a de-Afrikanizing/white washing concept.
