This book by Dr. Tanisha Ford highlights the relevance of fashion in the Black community. Some things in it I raised an eyebrow at, but for the most part it’s a pretty interesting read.

Well the book is written by someone who is not pan African in its original sense, so you can probably figure it out. But the eyebrow raising part is minimal in the book. Anyway, black women who are into fashion will probably enjoy the book.

Very interesting account of the genocide in Rwanda instigated by the Belgians. I read all kinds of books that tell our stories fiction, non fiction.

I was too. They had a public forum last week for site feedback. They’re making sitewide and app-wide changes based on user feedback. 😊

If I post a lengthy post a message pops up that says ‘there’s a problem with the post’ or something like that.

Im listening to Rapsody. She giving that 90s vibe. I pretty much listen to all genres of music from Afrobeats, ‘local’ African sounds especially from Kenya, Congolese, reggae, jazz, ol skool, etc.
