Most of these “Kemetic” or “Egyptian” proverbs are not, in fact, ancient. These are mostly 20th Century creations. This is a case in point. Ptah Hotep says something similar to this, but the syntax is purely modern.- View 1 reply

I know the word evil is in the proverb, but I connected to the overall msg that a family who helps each other is safer from ‘negative vibes’ than a family who is more divided.
