Looking at how we had built into our way of life, communicating with the trees and plants… and since aamw didnt understand, they taught us that “worshiping” nature was the activity of heathens. Now, while they actively destroy all of nature, they realize …ohhh snap, the plants communicate. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

@bakari-kwento the trees breathe for us and we breathe for the trees, it’s all in the cycle of trust; I got ahold of what’s holding me up.

had a garden at my friends house because my yard wasn’t big enough. I literally without being there know my garden needs water. I never watered this garden by hand but I would say out loud my garden needs some rain please give it what it needs. It would rain EVERY time. Also, there were pear, apple and peach trees that had not fruited in years ALL of them fruited abundantly when I had that garden. I know it’s because of the communication and love we had with the soil and the plants that the entire yard flourished because of that connection. On the science end we could say oh it was the increase in pollinators that made the fruit trees grow blah blah. Possibly true but it was also our Afrikan connection to the soil that assisted in the connection of us and that garden. The pics of 2 years of the garden. The pumpkin vines were the product of not having it fenced in and the pumpkin growing all over the yard. The next year we built a box, some of the harvest and the garden overgrown end of season in the empty space we had okra and watermelon.

@Bakari Kwadwo the tree was already there it just wasn’t bearing fruit till we started gardening and giving love to the soil. What I do know is you have to pick the fruit or the tree will stop fruiting.

@yezinkan I so agree with you on how so called science tries to explain the unseen life of the spirit in the lands around the world. The science of the west is a corrupt and self serving. Science do no engender true connection with nature, but creates an artificial notion of knowing that changes reality from one generation to the next. I believe giving rest to the land from time to time will also help us to be kind and more in balance with the earth vegetation and cycles of life. This mass production of the land is not sustainable for our future, as we see the evidence happening today.

Secret Life of Plants (Not the Stevie Wonder one!) goes into great detail about the studies conducted that prove plants are sentient and VERY much aware of what’s happening in their environment. Great read.
